WOMENS DIV 1

After a slow start to the game from both teams, Grizzlies picked up the pace and finished the first quarter with an 8 point lead. Panthers didn’t let this faze them and stayed in the game, scoring steadily through the second quarter. However, Grizzlies continued their slick passing and finishes on the drive, maintaining their lead, and finishing the half with a score of 38-21.

In the second half, Panther’s Maria Biblioni showed off some impressive ball handling skills, but a combination of Monika Janus’ strong drives to the basket and Sarah Brady’s impressive three point shooting stretched Grizzlies lead. Grizzlies took the win 74-47.
