About Us
basketball grampian is the over arching body for basketball in the North East of Scotland. Our leagues involve amateur adult teams drawn from the North East of Scotland including clubs from Fraserburgh to Banchory, Inverurie to Portlethen in Aberdeenshire, a number of teams from Aberdeen City and Montrose in Angus. We currently have 20 teams taking part in the basketball grampian adult Men and Womens League competing in two mens divisions and one women's league. The Challenge Cup and Consolation Cups are played for throughout the year and culminate in Finals Weekend. This seasons finals will take place on 19 and 20 March 2010. The Development of the game is important to basketball grampian and work is ongoing in partnership with basketball Scotland and our Development Officer - Grant Wilson at establishing a sustainable development structure. The web site is the main communication tool for basketball grampian and readers are asked to provide feedback to the association through the contact us tab. All players participating in basketball are registered with clubs which are affiliated to basketball Scotland through basketball grampian.
